I have an addiction to patterned paper. I even dream about it! Especially lately with all of the pre-CHA sneak peaks the manufacturers are giving. I can't wait to get my hands on these things! These previews actually involve even more sub-addictions, like flowers. Have you seen the new blossoms being previewed on the Prima blog this week? They're amazing! For now, I do have my fair share of paper to play with, like this paper from My Mind's Eye, Just Dreamy 2, that I used to create the card below. I'm actually working on a mini-album right now that features some of this same paper, because I can't get enough of it, so I'll be showing that soon.
The sentiment, from A Muse, has been stamped in black ink and embossed to help it stand out a bit more against the patterned background. I also used a mm felt flower, prima blossom, gem, and white twill. I held back on embellishing this too much because this sweet paper speaks for itself, at least for me, and I didn't want to cover it up :)
I'll be able to really feed my paper addiction this weekend when Laurie at The Scrapbooker's Dream (lss) has her HUGE sale- almost everything in the store is 50% off to make room for all of the new items coming in! How great/fun is that?!! So, if you're in our area, you don't want to miss this!
Okay, well I should take advantage of napping little ones and turn the computer off now to do laundry
do some papercrafting! Who am I kidding :)
What new products being previewed are you most excited about getting your hands on??

Great card! I love the layout and that paper! Totally understand paper addiction! I have to talk myself into using my decorative paper instead of a solid color of paper! LOL

I love looking at all of the "new" supplies. My biggest problem is I buy lovely supplies...and then don't use them....what if something better comes along to do with them....ugh....add that to my list of idiosyncrasies. I can't wait to see your mini album. Enjoy the 50% sale!

You and me both sista! I have a friend who calls me the PP snob cause I can look at a project and usually name the manu if not the line! I am on a spending FREEZE - so I am trying to avoid all the CHA peeks! But I would really like to see what Pink Paislee is going to come out with and Basic Grey, and MME, and Cosmo Cricket and oh who am I kidding with this FREEZE - it's sooooo hard!
