I really love everything babies. They themselves are just irresistible, adorable, cuddly, squishy little loves and everything that goes along with them is just as sweet. It's time for me to admit that I don't have one anymore. Even though they'll always be "my babies" and even though my youngest is still a bit squishy, they are growing. I have to go to Kindergarten registration for Emily next week and Liam is officially a toddler, shouting the trademark "no" with each and every chance he gets to assert his independence and take a stance of his own in this world, even when he really means yes! While it is difficult for me to accept that these days are over for me, and they are, I must look at the bright side...it is truly impossible to describe the joy you receive from watching them grow, learn, and discover and this only becomes greater as they move further ahead, it's exciting. I will just have to enjoy other people's babies from here on out, and then go home to a full night of rest (see, the bright side)... and there is always paper crafting, a perfect way to embrace and celebrate babyhood. You know baby projects are among my favorite.
So, before I share my latest baby {paper} creation, I'm gonna give myself a big 'ol pat on the back for coming to terms with this and not subjecting my poor son to a life of being babied by mommy :)
But, we'll tackle the binky another day...
It doesn't get much better than Melissa Frances paper and rubons when creating for babies, just gorgeous, darling products. Also used an A Muse stamp, a making memories chipboard frame which has been painted, sanded, and stitched, some satin ribbon, trim, ranger ink, flowers, and kaiser pearls.
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful! I love making baby cards, too. I am with you on the letting go of the baby thing. My friends are all still having babies, so I can always love on theirs, and like you said, come home to a full night's sleep! My youngest is 2 1/2 now, my oldest 4 1/2, and they are both still my babies. Tara (the youngest) is still my baby in that I call her one on occassion, but I too have recently had the realization that my baby days are over. It happened a couple months ago while potty training Tara, and I cried. But, they are so much fun right now, and life with them is really just beginning. They are becoming amazing little people, full of curiousity and a sense of humor a baby just doesn't have. I think you and I are doing pretty good, all things considered.

What a beautiful card! Love all the details on it. I also love the Melissa Frances paper.
I love babies also, but alas my "baby" is now 30 years old! Thank God for grandchildren! I have my babies again to hug and squeeze.

So cute. I'm pretty baby crazy myself but I'm through with babies. More or less. My baby is still pretty squishy and I snuggle every time he lets me.
I just tell myself, someday I'm gonna have a ton of grandchildren to snuggle with. Spoil them and send them home!

OMW that paper is just PERFECT! It is a good thing they don't sell it here! I would have to break my no paper rule. I love the ribbon you used as well!

I love babies and everything "baby" also...ahh! I just found out a few weeks ago that my niece is expecting her second baby this summer. We are so excited.
Your card is exceptional as usual. Thanks so much for sharing the beauty you create.
